Information we collect and how we use it
When you subscribe, we store your email address, alert preferences, language, records needed for verification, management and unsubscribe, and delivery history. Your alert preferences and language determine which concert information you receive and in which language. Verification, management and unsubscribe records and delivery history are used to manage alerts and respond to delivery problems or misuse. Information received through inquiries is used to investigate and reply.
We use your email address for concert alerts, identity verification, settings management, and deletion. We do not use it for any other purpose.
Cookies and access statistics
Notification verification uses a cookie valid for 365 days. You can use an emailed management link in another browser. A separate statistics cookie valid for 180 days is issued when a public page is viewed. We count page views, concert detail views and concert information, ticket and affiliate link clicks by the language of the page being viewed. We also aggregate device types, browser families and operating systems inferred from the User-Agent header. We do not store the original User-Agent string. Search terms and email addresses are not stored in statistics or linked to notification cookies. Deleting the statistics cookie creates a new identifier on your next visit.
Individual statistics events older than 14 days and daily identifiers older than 3 days are eligible for deletion. Cleanup runs on page views, so expired records may remain while the site receives no visits. Daily and concert-level aggregate counts have no fixed retention period.
Retention and deletion
Notification registrations and delivery history have no fixed retention period. Use “Delete all registration data” in notification settings, then confirm through the emailed confirmation page to delete your email address, alert settings, delivery history and authentication records. To stop individual alerts, use notification settings or the unsubscribe links in emails. Contact us below about information provided through inquiries.
External services
Cloudflare hosts the site and database, and Resend sends notification emails. The support page loads an embedded donation and payment service from codoc. This communicates with codoc, which may use cookies or browser storage. See codoc’s information about donation data. After opening external concert or ticket links, refer to the destination site’s privacy information.
Our server sends the concert venue’s location to the Rakuten Travel API to retrieve nearby properties. Your location and notification information are not sent. Opening a Rakuten Travel PR link takes you through Rakuten’s affiliate service for attribution. The destination may use cookies or similar technologies; see Rakuten’s privacy policy. GameCon does not include your notification email address or alert preferences in this link.

Display and email language
The entry page uses your browser’s preferred language. A language you select manually is stored in a cookie valid for one year. Registration and management actions use the current page language; your delivery language is saved after verification. Access statistics record the language of the page being viewed. Email language preferences and email addresses are not linked to statistics identifiers.
